This policy explains how Kencang.in, operated by PT Kode Digital Solusindo, handles your data when you use kencang.in, including the link shortener, QR codes, bio pages and API.
1. Data we collect
Account data: username, email, phone number and a hashed password, or profile details from Google/Facebook login. Link data: destination URLs, aliases, uploaded images and link settings. Visitor statistics: time of access, country and city derived from the IP address, device, browser, OS and referrer. Full IP addresses are not stored permanently. Cookies: session, preference and, with your consent, analytics cookies. Payments: processed by third-party providers; we never store card numbers.
2. How we use data
To operate the service and show you analytics, to prevent abuse by checking URLs against safety databases such as Google Safe Browsing, to send transactional emails, to contact you by phone or WhatsApp about your account, our services and offers, to send newsletters only if you opt in, and to improve the product using aggregated data.
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with infrastructure and email providers under confidentiality agreements, payment processors, link-safety services, integrations you enable yourself (Slack, Zapier, ad pixels), and authorities when legally required.
4. Retention and security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS), passwords are hashed and access is restricted. Click statistics are kept for the retention period of your plan (30 days Free, 365 days Pro, unlimited Business) and then deleted.
5. Your rights
You can edit your profile, export links and statistics as CSV, delete your account permanently from Settings, and withdraw consent for newsletters and non-essential cookies at any time.
6. Visitors of short links
If you click a kencang.in link created by someone else, we only process the technical data described above for the link owner's statistics. Link owners may attach third-party ad pixels; those providers' policies apply to the data they collect.
